We read books about the living world — rivers, birds, deep time, senses, place — then gather for conversation and a shared meal.
What this is
The Nature Book Group is a private reading circle started by George Mayfield in 2025. Molly co-hosts. Meetings are usually at the Mayfields’ home in the Denver / Wheat Ridge area, with an open invitation to meet at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science when that fits the group.
We pick books together (often with a simple ranked vote), bring something to share, and talk about what the book opened up.
